Camping in Coyote Flats : Once again the Woods family trekked up into the Sierra's for a camping trip. This time it was just Dad and the kids. Mom had to stay home and work! We went to Coyote Flats, which is in the Palisade range of peaks just west of Bishop, CA. After reaching Bishop, we headed up into the mountains. We found ourselves a lovely campsite at 10,000 feet elevation right on the edge of a beautiful alpine meadow with a pleasant little stream full of fish and frogs and everything a child could hope for.
